This is a decent self service restaurant/café where you can eat inside or on the small terrace facing the castle. The young staff is pleasant and will help foreigners in the search for something local like their house wine or a rösti with Spiegelei.

Café near by castle. 29 CHF for lunch and water. We had a great time with the view of Cillion castle.

Cafe with a beautiful panorama. We went there to have something to eat after visiting the castle. Self-service cafe. Expensive (like everything in Switzerland). I didn't feel like eating fast food, so it was good that soup was on the menu. It definitely lacked taste, so I added a little more salt and pepper.

I had the fish of the day which was made gluten and garlic free for me by the absolutely wonderful personnel. They were just so kind, helpful and welcoming! Great memories! Thank you Frederic and team I did burn myself on the very hot metal barrier around the restaurant as it was a hot day but the cafe staff are aware and have been asking the castle to remedy this issue so it's not on them. The bag filled with ice Frederic gave me helped the burn heal much faster!

It's a buffet coffee and meal. I order a cup of coffee for about 5 CHF. The price is very reasonable. The environment is beautiful and the waiter is very friendly! Very close to the castle, suitable for friends, lovers and family gatherings! I'll come back.
